This site includes a refreshing presentation of educational materials in a game format. It is well worth using while teaching the scientific method, bacteriology, or historical figures concepts.

This is a fantastic site for all individuals interested in microbiology and/or biological sciences in general.

Science News for Kids is a multifaceted site. Virtually every aspect of science is covered in educational, kid-friendly articles.

Overall, this is one of the most worthwhile sites for science educators I have encountered.

This website is quite good and would be useful to anyone who wants an explanation of the current state of research on the brain.

The educator’s section of the Society for Toxicology website is a comprehensive resource for teachers wishing to incorporate toxicology principles into their teaching.

The Quicksilver Web Module

The Quicksilver Web Module provides middle-school teachers with a valuable environmental toxicology teaching resource.  The student module is composed of an interactive city in which the students collect information from different resources to solve an environmental health problem.

The Vaccine Page is a rich site which is not built upon original or synthesized information, but rather provides an extremely well-organized approach to links to other sites concerned with vaccines and vaccination.
 
The Why Files
I believe it to be an excellent site for both general audiences and classroom use for science topics of general interest. I have added the URL to my list of favorites.
