With a lot of eye-catching graphics, this site is sure to capture the attention of teachers and kids alike. Teachers can get ideas on how to add nutrition lessons to their curriculum by entering the "Teachers" section. In this section, educators can look at how several teachers have used nutrition lessons in their classrooms, lesson plans that can be printed right from the site, nutrition material for schools (some that can be printed from the site and others that have to be ordered), and activities to do in the classroom. In the "Kids" section, students can learn more about fruits and vegetables by going to "5 A Day Friends," learn more about nutrition by going to "What is 5 A Day?," play games, listen to music, and look up recipes in the the "Kids Cookbook." They can also play the "5 A Day Challenge," where they see if they can help Snack Man get is five a day. Teachers and students should be aware of the fact that the site is owned by Dole Food Company, Inc. and evaluate it based on that information. Overall, however, the site provides useful information about food and nutrition.
