BBC Science & Nature is a website chock-full of science content. Like a newspaper, the site’s front page changes its content frequently and presents interesting articles, facts, and news. The site is divided into twelve broad sections: Animals, Prehistoric Life, Human Body & Mind, Genes, Space,and Hot Topics. Each of these sections completely examines the topic at hand. For example, the Prehistoric Life page contains fact files, games, quizzes, chronology, graphics, etc.

WebWise will also teach you how to surf the net and travel through websites. This section is particularly useful for students or older adults new to the Web.

Besides offering a treasure trove of science facts and lessons, the site contains good background information that can supplement topics taught in class. All the information in the site is neatly and logically organized. The graphical layout is fantastic and all this makes using the site and getting information a snap! I would certainly recommend taking a peek at this site to see if you can find what you’re looking for. Well done, BBC!
