This webpage is part of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s website. The Missouri Botanical Garden has been in existence since 1859, and it is very active in outreach and education. This page is appropriate for students, teachers, and parents. It gives everyone the opportunity to learn more about the habitat where they live or in some distant corner of the world. The page features an interactive map. All the user has to do is click on a particular habitat, such as wetlands, and he/she will be taken to a page filled with information on that habitat. In the Just for Kids section, young visitors can learn about the biology of plants, life habitats, and environment by doing simple projects. This section also offers cool links, fun projects, and a Q&A section. The Teachers’ Spot offers ideas on projects for the classroom, lesson plans, and reviews of learning packages.
